PRESIDENT’S Message
2007/2008


NASBITE International serves the professional development needs of international trade educators and trade assistance providers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. We engage partners from around the world in a dynamic exchange of information and ideas.

What an exciting time for NASBITE International! We just finished our 20th conference in Vancouver, B.C., Canada and what a lovely site it was. We have launched our new website thanks to Texas Tech University, our host institution, and the efforts of Maurice Kogon our VP and President elect. The website now has a “members only” section that will include a job bank, online journal, blog and member database plus much more. The prestigious NASBITE CGBP credential has grown considerably since it was launched in 2005. The Board of Governors continues to look for new and innovative ways to bring value to our members.  Please visit at www.nasbite.org.

We are now planning for an exciting conference in March 2008 at the Doubletree Hotel, Crystal City in Arlington, VA. We hope you will be able to join us to learn about international trade and meet trade educators and trade assistance providers from around the world. The conference will be fun, educational and offer a chance to network with peers in international trade. I invite you to join us as a NASBITE International member so you can access all the valuable resources that are part of the NASBITE International website.
