2010 Exam Dates / Cities

Please Note: All exams regardless of date begin at 8AM with candidate check-in.  Formal exam begins at 8:30 with the reading of exam instructions.  Once the reading of instructions is completed, the exam begins.  Candidates have 3 hours in which to complete the exam. 

 

Examination Schedule for all Test Days:

8:00 a.m. Candidate check in for the exam - bring photo ID and admission letter, Number 2 pencils, and erasure. Calculators not needed, nor allowed.

8:30 a.m. Reading of candidate / exam instructions begins.

After reading of instructions has ended, and all questions answered, the examination begins.

12:00 p.m. (approx) Examination ends 3 hours after start. Actual end time depends on actual start time. Typically the exam ends by 12:00 p.m.

Candidates finishing early are allowed to leave the testing room.

April 7, 2010 - Austin, TX Registration Open
Exam will be offered Wednesday, April 7 prior to the NASBITE Annual Conference at the Sheraton Austin Hotel, Austin, TX..  Conference registration not required. 

Special University / College Test Day - April
Universities and colleges may host the exam at their school between April 1 and April 30.  A minimum of six candidates are required.  There is no additional cost.  Please contact Jim Foley at (309) 677-3075 for details.

Exam will be offered prior to the ASBDC National Conference at the Grant Hyatt San Antonio. Conference registration not required.  Exam is 8AM (candidate check in) with 8:30AM exam start. Finish by noon.

ADDITIONAL TEST LOCATIONS
Additional examinations locations may be added - but only on an existing national exam date. Please contact the CGBP Director, Mr. Jim Foley, Bradley University at (309) 677-3075 or jff@bradley.edu. A minimum of six candidates must register to secure a separate test location in the U.S. - eight candidates for non-U.S. locations. Though there is no additional cost to add a separate test location, NASBITE may choose to not add a location that is considered too close to an existing test location.

June 13, 2009 - National / International Test Day - All sites tested on Saturday June 13 except Cleveland, OH, which was Wednesday June 17.

Historical Infomation for Reference  Innagural Exam:
The innagural NASBITE CGBP Exam was given at the NASBITE 2005 Conference in New Orleans on March 20, 2005.  The second exam in 2005 was the first nationally-administered exam and was held on June 18.

2006 Exams

JANUARY 14, 2006

The first 2006 national CGBP Exam date was January 14. 

April 19 - NASBITE National Conference

In adidition to the two national exams in January and June, candidates were able to take the exam prior to the NASBITE annual conference in Orlando, Florida.
